E-Gift Card Operating System and Its Management Method using Wired and Wireless Network

The invention relates to an E-Gift card operating system and its management method using wired and wireless network.
The purpose of the invention is to introduce the E-Gift card operating system and its management method to make payments easier for customers using the E-Gift card, which is already saved in a remote server via mobile devices of the customer and the member business.  

The composition of the invention is as follows: the key unit, operating all the commands related to E-Gift card purchase signals, E-Gift card account information printout, payment method selection, winning numbers printout and E-Gift card transaction details output, and a customer’s mobile terminal display unit used to display the mentioned information; the key unit, operating all the commands related to the business’s payment information and sales information of daily gift cards, and member businesses’ mobile terminal display unit used to display the mentioned information; the mobile communications server that processes E-Gift card related data, such as data to send and to receive between the mobile terminals of the customer and the member business; and the E-Gift card management server that connects to the mobile terminals of the customer, the member business and to the mobile communications server to issue and distribute the E-Gift card and to manage payment.

The use of the invention allows customers to pay their bills, through a designated E-Gift card account on the remote server, using their mobile terminal number and password; therefore, payment becomes easier without having to use additional credit card terminals. This system is particularly good for delivery companies because they can process payments through a mobile terminal without having to purchase a wireless credit card terminal. It is also convenient for customers as they can select payment methods other than cash for the delivered services.

The invention has additional advantages to customers. Customers can earn additional points and enjoy additional lottery services when using E-Gift cards. Business owners do not have to calculate daily sales manually thanks to the mobile terminal’s automatic processing. E-Gift cards are different from credit cards, which can only be used by individuals, mainly for payments. One can offer an E-Gift card by sending it to another user of mobile terminal.
